Wash and dry fresh strawberries. Remove stems and slice 1/4 inch slices from top to bottom.
Layer sliced strawberries on a serving platter. Top with sliced mozzarella. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
Lay mint leaves on top of each other and slice in thin strips so you end up with a pile of thin shredded mint leaves. If you're using basil tear the leaves into small pieces with your hands.
Drizzle olive oil and balsamic glaze over the strawberries. Sprinkle mint or basil over the top, garnish with a sprig of mint and enjoy.
