Mushroom caesar salad
This is a wonderful vegan mushroom caesar salad and a great way to turn a whole bunch of mushrooms into a fresh delicious caesar salad. Mushrooms are another great super food, filled with Vitamin D, B and selenium which helps the body create antioxidants.
Thinly sliced and marinated in the dressing the mushrooms add savory umami flavor that pairs perfectly in this caesar salad. These are even great on their own and if you’re not careful they may disappear before they make it into your salad. For a Vegetarian Mushroom Caesar Salad, this is also great with freshly grated parmesan cheese over the top for a little more umami flavor.
