Fruit Syrup

Flavor boosting, use it up way to turn scraps into delicious fruity syrups.

Servings 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup fruit scraps-pits, peels etc

Instructions

  1. Toss your fruit peels, pits and scraps into a bowl.

  2. Pour sugar into the fruit scraps and stir.

  3. Cover and set on the counter for 12-48 hours stirring occasionally.

  4. Strain fruit scraps, store the fruit syrup in glass jars or bottles in the fridge.
