Tips for the Best Caprese
- Fresh Ingredients: The fresher the tomatoes and mozzarella, the better your caprese will taste. Look for vine-ripened tomatoes and the highest quality mozzarella you can find.
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil: For the dressing, use a good quality extra virgin olive oil. It makes a big difference in flavor.
- Let it Marinate: If you have the time, let the caprese sit for about 10-15 minutes after dressing it. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do. It’s a beautiful and delicious way to celebrate summer, and it always brings back fond memories of sharing this with friends and family. Give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments below!
